Bulk Haulage

BHT operates a range of tippers that cater for every size load including truck and dog to “B” Double and road train. Flat tops carting full load general and hay in single, “B” Double and road train are also a major part of our operation. Brand new “B” Double taut liners are also available to cart produce.

The yard is equipped with loading bays and useful machinery including Komatsu loader, JCB and forklift.

We also have a misu screening bucket that is attached to the loader for screening organic matter.

Tippers

Carting anything bulk have always been the mainstay of the business. With a wide variety, any tonnage from tray top to road train can be accommodated.  From grain to fertilizer, gypsum, stockfeed pellets, all livestock feeds, potatoes, road construction materials and a variety of waste products are just an indication of the diversity of BHT.

In Single, “B” Double and Road Train form can cart all general full load freight. These are also widely used to handle the hay trading side of the business. So from hay locally or to Longreach in Queensland, or massive sheds to Esperance in WA, we always like a challenge. With Peters long experience in handling general freight, the job will always be handled with great pride. If it takes all day to put a load together, to make sure the job is done properly, that’s how it is.

Subcontacting

Other carriers enables BHT to cover a variety of contacts. With the assistance of other specially selected carriers BHT covers the highs and lows of freight movements. Our subcontractors are all required to adhere to the same strict operational guidelines as our own vehicles.

Compliance

BHT operates under the NHVR Mass Management and Maintenance Management modules.  These ensure all vehicles are operated with legal weights and are maintained in accordance with the national requirements. All drivers have undertaken Fatigue training and operate within the NHVR Basic Fatigue module. Our drivers are managed thru on- board satellite navigation to ensure they always obey all rules and regulations. This satellite navigation also enables us to advise clients of the whereabouts of their valuable freight. Our vehicles are always correctly maintained with the appropriate weights and adequate time to get safely to their destination.
